The Middle East region of the world continues to crumble, leading many to speculate we are inevitably locked on a path toward a third world war. The Israel Defense Forces launched a devastating series of airstrikes against targets belonging to Houthi terrorists in Yemen, who have support from Iran, a nation that might be a whole lot closer to having nuclear weapons than we previously realized. There’s no doubt the ultimate goal of Iran is to start a global conflict, as the Islamic religion believes that doing so will bring about a caliphate and the end of the world.
Early on Thursday morning, Houthis fired a missile into Israel that annihilated a school, prompting IDF retaliation. I mean, come on now. Targeting innocent children? What did these idiots think was going to happen? This kind of action is what is prompting so many to believe the strategy isn’t to wipe out Israel with these kind of attacks, but to start a world war.
“Today, the IDF conducted precise strikes on Houthi military targets in Yemen – including ports and energy infrastructure in Sana’a, which the Houthis have been using in ways that effectively contributed to their military actions,” IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said about the strikes. “Israel will not hesitate to act in order to defend itself and its citizens from the Houthi attacks.”
via The Daily Wire:
Ramat Gan Mayor Carmel Shama-Hacohen said that the damage to the multistory Ramat Ef’al elementary school would need to be entirely rebuilt after sustaining millions of dollars in damage from the Houthi missile strike. No one was inside the building when it was hit. Israel’s military said that its strikes against the Houthis involved 14 fighter jets that were deployed in two waves — the first of which targeted the ports of Hodeida, Salif, and the Ras Isa oil terminal, while the second targeted energy infrastructure in Sanaa.

“After Hamas, Hezbollah and the Assad regime in Syria, the Houthis are almost the last remaining arm of Iran’s axis of evil,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu explained. “They are learning and they will learn the hard way, that whoever harms Israel pays a very heavy price for it.”
The Houthis have fired more than 200 ballistic missiles and launched more than 170 suicide drones at Israel, in addition to the scores of attacks that the terrorist group has launched against cargo ships and oil tankers.
Again, the major concern with these kind of developments is the continued destabilization of the entire region. And if that happens, will Iran resort to the use of a nuclear weapon against Israel? If they do, it’s guaranteed to launch the world into war. A million and one disasters can flow out of such a scenario, including full-scale nuclear conflict featuring the world’s super powers. That would be a disaster the defies quantification.
Let’s hope things remain stagnant until President-elect Donald Trump takes office. Hopefully, he and his team can untangle this mess before it’s too late.
