Something huge is on the horizon and it doesn’t bode well for the future of the world. Yes, the world. Not just America. We’re slipping and sliding hard and fast toward World War III, which President Joe Biden and the rest of his Democratic Party knuckleheads seem bound and determined to cause before he leaves office in January. And it’s all going to start with Ukraine and Russia. In fact, things are getting so tense in that part of the world that other European nations are now informing their citizens to begin preparing for war.
On Tuesday, Ukraine fired a total of six long-range weapons into Russia. Guess who provided them with those weapons? The United States. The following day, Ukraine fired double that amount. This time they were provided by the United Kingdom. Are we picking a fight with Russia using Ukraine as a proxy? It sort of feels that way.
Just take a moment and think about this. If another major superpower supplied weapons to an adjacent country and they used those weapons on our soil, what do you think would happen. Nuclear weapons would be unleashed on the country supplying the weapons. And that’s exactly what the people of Russia want their government to do.
Somebody needs to do something to defuse this situation immediately. The only winners in such a massive global conflict will be those who profit off of war. And they have a vested interest in ensuring that it happens. World leaders need to get to the negotiating table and broker peace before its too late.
Instead, European nations are trying to prepare folks for war. Like Sweden, which started passing out 5 million copies of a booklet “advising its citizens how to prepare for war”
Sweden on Monday started to distribute copies of a booklet advising its citizens how to prepare for war, as Nordic countries teach people how to brace for a potential Russian attack. The 32-page brochure, which is also available in English and several other languages, advises citizens on warning systems, how to seek shelter during an air raid and even psychological and digital security.
Sweden has not been involved in any wars for a really long time. Nobody attacks Sweden. So why in the world is the country telling its citizens they need to be ready for a war? Because officials think this is a very real possibility.
Civil Defense Minister Carl-Oskar Bohlin made waves in January when he warned: “There could be war in Sweden.” Sweden’s then army chief Micael Byden also alarmed many when he days later said “Swedes have to mentally prepare for war.” Sweden has not gone to war in more than two centuries.
Dash over to Finland and Norway and you’ll find they too are getting citizens prepared for war.
As Norwegian paper Aftenposten recently reported, Norway’s citizens have also received similar “emergency preparedness” pamphlets because “in the worst case” acts of war could also affect Norway. Finland’s government, too, has released a digital booklet to prepare citizens for “incidents and crises,” stating that the country “has always been prepared for the worst possible threat, war.”
Finland seems really worried about the prospect of battle in the near future. So much so that they are building a 10-foot-tall wall that is going to be 200 km long when completed.
Finland shares a 1,340-kilometre (830-mile) border with Russia and Helsinki has maintained a higher level of preparedness. But after Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine, Helsinki announced plans to build a 200-kilometre border fence with Russia. Three meters (10 feet) tall and topped with barbed wire, it is due to be completed by 2026.
This is quite strange. Why would Russia want to invade Finland? It seems the Russians are having a hard enough time dealing with Ukraine and will be so for a while.
Germany has a very lengthy document — try a thousand pages — that includes loads of detailed plans for war with Russia.
According to a 1,000-page document entitled ‘Operationsplan Deutschland’, Germany would reportedly host hundreds of thousands of troops from NATO countries and serve as a logistics hub for sending huge quantities of military equipment, food and medicine toward the front. A report by Der Spiegel in the summer said as many as 800,000 soldiers from the security bloc could be hosted by Germany as they transit to posts further East.
The German army is also instructing companies and civilians on how to protect key infrastructure and mobilise for national defence, envisaging a situation in which Russia expands drone flights, spying operations and sabotage attacks across Europe.
And this is why we need the leadership skills of President-elect Donald Trump. Putin respects him as a man and a leader, primarily because when he speaks to him he doesn’t try to undermine his authority in front of his people. Respect goes a long, long way. This is something liberals don’t understand. It’s why they think Trump is buddies with Putin and slam him for having a good relationship with him.
What they fail to understand is that kind of relationship is how you prevent a world war. Let’s hope peace holds until he’s in office and can work this out.
