Former President Donald Trump did an interview with Fox & Friends on Wednesday where he took an opportunity to slam Vice President Kamala Harris, his opponent in the general election, for choosing Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate. During the interview he said that if this ticket should be victorious in November it would lead to communism infecting America along with a major economic depression. I’d say he’s probably right on the money, especially when you take a long look at the governor’s previous handling of both the 2020 race riots and the coronavirus pandemic.
“I would say my reaction is: I can’t believe it,” Trump said of Walz being named as Harris’ running mate. “I never thought that he was going to be the one that was picked.” Trump later added “there’s never been a ticket like this. This is a ticket that would want this country to go communist immediately, if not sooner,” Trump stated during the interview, according to The Post Millennial.

Trump then provided a response to a recording of the Minnesota Democrat making the claim that the former president didn’t have a solid grasp of what he referred to as “kitchen table” issues due to being raised in a well-to-do family.
“I was not always sitting in Mar-a-Lago,” Trump replied. “Either way, I was sitting at lots of other places and built an unbelievable business, one of the greatest businesses. I built a business that is phenomenal,” he then added that he could always go back to his private life and “continue to do what I love.”
“I love business and I love creating jobs, and that’s what we’re doing. We’ll be creating jobs at a level that you’ve never seen before,” he said.
So many on the left wonder why Trump is beloved by conservatives and many average Americans. It’s because he’s down-to-earth. You may not believe that because he’s a billionaire, but the guy will talk to anyone from any walk of life and find a way to relate to them. It’s a gift he’s been given and we’re blessed he uses it to help make our lives better. On top of that, the former president has sacrificed almost everything in order to be involved in the affairs of our country. He has nothing to gain from being president. This is a labor of love. And he’s almost died for it. That speaks volumes.

Trump noted the market crash earlier in the week and inflation that has plagued the Biden administration, adding, “It’s a very bad situation that we’re going in. We could end up in a depression if these people are re-elected.”
Trump summed up Harris’ record as a far-left Democrat who is out of touch with ordinary Americans. “She’s for no fracking. She’s for defund the police … she was the original defunder of the police. She was the original no cash bail. Cashless bail, which has caused havoc.”
“And look at how she’s destroyed San Francisco,” Trump stated during the appearance on Fox & Friends. “[Harris] started it out as the DA in San Francisco with policies that were so bad. It’s a crime-ridden place. It went from the greatest city in America. It’s a crime place right now. It’s not livable. You can’t even live there.”

The Republican presidential nominee then pointed out that Harris is not a normal Democrat but is part of the “radical left,” also noting that Walz shares a lot of her beliefs and policy positions, the main difference between the two of them being that he is a “smarter version of her.” The former president said Walz’s politics are likely similar to those of Vermont Democrat Sen. Bernie Sanders, saying, “he’s very, very heavy into transgender; anything transgender he thinks is great.”
He then admitted he was a bit stunned by Harris picking a running mate that would have the exact same political principles she has instead of reaching out to “somebody who’s different.”
“Her record on security is horrible,” Trump said and claimed that even the Democratic Party couldn’t imagine Harris running for president just “five weeks ago.” But he noted that much of the mainstream media has since been trying to build her up to “the next [British PM] Margaret Thatcher liberal version.”
He went on to slam Harris for evading the press and for not committing to a presidential debate against him, which he then said is absolutely going to happen, no matter what news network is chosen to host it.
“She was a border czar — which she doesn’t admit it now — You know, the only thing they have going is the media will play off all of the bad things, bad things that happened during her term. She was so bad that five weeks ago, they wanted to remove her because she was unthinkable to be president. They were going to go with anyone. And then they were afraid that they would offend people if they did that,” Trump told the hosts of the program. “She doesn’t do interviews because she can’t answer questions. I don’t know how she debates. I hear she’s sort of a nasty person, but not a good debater.”
A debate between Trump and Harris would likely end the same way the one with President Joe Biden ended. It would expose her idiocy and incompetence to the masses, revealing that she too is not fit for the presidency.
