A well known exorcist and Catholic priest, Father Dan Rehill, recently made an appearance on the Shawn Ryan Show, where he revealed his take as to whether or not we are racing head long toward the end times as prophesied in Sacred Scripture. While he revealed that he does not believe the end of our world is imminent, he did give us a list of things we need to look f0r in order to recognize when those days have fallen upon us.
Ryan, who served his country as a Navy SEAL, asked the priest, “Are we in the end times?” Rehill replied by saying, “Then I think we’re in the end of this age of disobedience. I don’t think it’s the end of the world, because I’m pretty sure in Revelation, it talks about 1000 year peace, and I think we would have noticed that if that happened, I’m pretty sure it didn’t happen.”

However, Father Rehill noted that we are living in troubling times of spiritual darkness. “But in the process, we’re living in a very like you said, that’s dark. A lot of the rulers of this world have an allegiance to Satan. And, you know, there’s a propensity for destruction, right?” Addressing the current conflicts in the Middle East, the exorcist noted that God always steps into defend his chosen people, as demonstrated by the Bible. “I’m not going to go into all the wars happening, but it’s ironic to me. You know, whenever you look at the Old Testament and the Israelites were being persecuted unjustly. If they didn’t create the problem themselves, they were just being, you know, the country comes in to try to take them over. They’re always vindicated by the Lord. Always he crushes the enemy and sets them free, and they’re fine,” he said.
However, as the Old Testament details, whenever Israel strays from God, He allows its enemies to teach the nation a lesson so to speak. “When they stray, he sometimes used armies to conquer them to peace the lesson, but then over time, they would repent, and then they would be put back into their proper place,” he said.
Rehill further explained that hostility toward Israel is ill-advised. “So when I see countries trying to annihilate Israel for no good reason, I’m like, Do you know who you’re messing with? God’s not going to just sit back if you’re literally stirring a pot trying to exterminate the Jewish people that he founded. You better be careful, and we better be on the right side of that as Americans, because I feel like we are telling Israel to pump your brakes and telling Iran you’re fine,” he continued. The priest also noted that when all the nations turn against Israel that is a sign of end times.
Weighing in on the spiritual darkness that seems to have blanketed the entire globe, Rehill explained that the number of exorcisms that have been performed on people since the COVID pandemic struck has gone up exponentially.
“And the more you see the exorcisms go up in number means the enemy is getting more riled up….They’re increasing. Ever since COVID, they’ve been multiplying…well, take away the sacraments close to churches and tell people to sit home idle doing bad things. What are you gonna get? That was a bad mistake,” he elaborated.
The good news is, we know how the story ends. God wins. The Church is victorious through the power of Christ. Satan and evil are defeated and ultimately, good triumphs. However, there is a lot of suffering along the way, for both Christians and non-believers. Fortunately for us, God will provide the Holy Spirit to sustain His people in and through dark times.
